Read Some of My Work
For years, I covered downtown Los Angeles's transformation, urban affairs, and the LAUSD for the Los Angeles Times. My reporting on the "dumping" of homeless patients onto the streets of Skid Row made national news and led to policy changes at the local, state and national levels. I was also part of the Metro staff that won the 2004 Pulitzer Prize for Breaking News for coverage of the Southern California wildfires.
